Abstract: The 20 kV distribution line is the backbone network at the end of the power system. The safety and efficiency of live working are closely related to the reliability of power grid supply and user power consumption. The lightweight insulating cloth umbrella-shaped baffle is a new type of flexible insulating protection equipment. With the characteristics of light weight, easy operation and good adaptability, it has gradually replaced the traditional rigid insulating baffle and become an equipment to improve operation safety and optimize operation processes. Based on the requirements and characteristics of 20 kV live working, this paper discusses its structural design and main parameters, analyzes its application scenarios, operation specifications and advantages, and verifies the effect with examples, so as to provide support and reference for its standardized and large-scale popularization and application.
