Design of transmission line maintenance tower-mounted autonomous retractable grounding system

  • The paper presents a comprehensive solution for intelligent management and monitoring of towermounted autonomous retractable grounding systems designed for transmission line maintenance operations. Firstly,it analyzes the shortcomings of the current grounding operations for transmission lines and proposes the necessity of tower-mounted grounding system design. The paper then designs the structure of the autonomous retractable grounding device, details the device’s functional modules, analyzes the grounding line operation process, and conducts performance index analysis. An operating system for the tower-mounted grounding line is designed,providing a detailed discussion of the specific principles of the control unit, execution unit, perception unit, and safety protection unit. Simulation tests are performed on actual engineering lines to comparatively analyze the effectiveness of the proposed system.
