Abstract
As the main control unit of diesel generator, the is the crucial part of Emergency Diesel Set(EDG)in security and recovering power supply for Nuclear Power Station. Combining the characteristics of electronic governor and mechanical governor,this issue analyses the zero drift problem of mechanical governor in Hualong nuclear power project. Also it’s the first time for all-around analysis on the governor including its configuration、switching logic、set-point、process and consequence of drift event. On the basis of no influence on that the EDG can being combined to the grid as well as insuring the electronic governor should execute the safety functions,this issue proposes the solutions for drift event which include optimizing set-point、improving the operation environment and adding Droop mode.
